The ThermoHeart™ Engine can be used to recover low-grade heat at scales and in applications that have previously been uneconomical to capture. From any hot gas up to 700C, the heat flow can be used to drive a heat transfer fluid temperature to 150C to 400C. Chances are if an industry needs to heat, bake, cure, melt, dry, roast, or form something in their process, they also have a waste heat stream that can be captured. Cool Energy’s approach can boost operational efficiency and reduce fuel consumption.

Potential heat recovery sources include:

Commercial and Industrial Processes

Diesel and Natural Gas Generator Exhaust

Pollution Control Equipment

Biomass Processing

Solar Thermal Collectors

Ship Propulsion Engines and Shipboard Generators

Geothermal Heat Sources
